ZIPS' NY Pizza & Italian

Excellent personal pan pizza. Nice clean restaurant inside and friendly service.

I love Zipps and have been going since Indiantown Road was 1 lane in each direction and Caesar was always there talking with the customers and Joe tended the front counter. Food has always been excellent, prices reasonable and service good. However last 3 trips were disappointing. Chicken Pasta Penne ala Vodka was not as creamy as before and the shreds of chicken were sparse at best. The mushrooms were shavings and the garlic knots were hard like stones. Shrimp Fra-Diablo was heavy on the Diablo and light on the shrimp. Maybe they've changed the kitchen help? Pasta Fazool was good and if you like a greasy cheese pizza (which I do) and some Peroni beers at the bar, this is the place. I hope someone is listening and can make some adjustments because this is a great little neighborhood restaurant.
